Susan Hyashi

Susan Hayashi serves as vice president of health innovation at Altarum. She works across the organization to provide our clients with unique and creative solutions to address public health challenges and needs. 

Susan is an executive dedicated to improving the health of individuals, with a particular focus on those with the greatest needs. She brings more than 25 years of experience in maternal and child health, behavioral health, health care integration, managed care, health equity, and social determinants of health. Her work has bridged across research and evaluation, health communication, medical education, training and technical assistance, and information technology supporting national federal programs, states, and foundations and associations as well as private sector health care. Susan is passionate about working with our project teams to maximize resources while exceeding client expectations to deliver impactful results.

Susan holds a Doctorate from Michigan State University, a Master of Science degree from Miami University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College.
