Mike has nearly 30 years of experience working in information technology (IT) operations management, electronic data interchange, data integration, and public health interoperability. He brings the ability to build and lead productive, cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment to create and implement value-added solutions within tight time frames. Mike designs and manages health data interoperability solutions to promote electronic public health reporting to state vital records registries. He is currently managing the design, development, and implementation of a SMART-on-FHIR application to support birth defect reporting. Prior to joining Altarum, Mike worked for two decades in managed care IT. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University.
