Over the past 25 years, Altarum Institute has developed considerable knowledge and expertise in health care workforce analysis and management. Our talented team of professionals is skilled in analyzing workforce trends, workforce management, and workforce scheduling to optimize resource and staff use. Altarum has conducted more than 40 health care workforce studies for the federal government, the Military Health System, individual states, and professional societies.
In much of our work, Altarum developed and implemented customized models to evaluate health care workforce supply and requirements. These models were then applied to forecast the adequacy of supply and to analyze the impact of potential policy scenarios. Altarum also has experience developing decision support tools to analyze options for hospital staffing.
