As a nonprofit research organization, Altarum Institute invests vigorously in its mission to solve complex systems problems to improve human health. The Systems Research and Initiatives (SRI) Group was established in October 2009 to guide the research agenda for the Institute, bringing together initiatives already under way as well as those in the planning stages. The key components of the research and initiatives program include the Research and Demonstration Program, Mission Projects Initiative, and the Internal Research and Development program.
