Altarum Institute provided evaluation and technical assistance to the National Association of County and City Health Officials. Altarum completed a literature review on community coalitions and community-driven efforts in health promotion and disease prevention, prepared an evaluation plan and program logic model, developed data collection instruments, collected data through Web-based surveys and phone interviews, provided technical assistance (TA) by participating on grantee calls and conducting site visits, developed several TA documents and tools, participated in the ACHIEVE evaluation workgroup, and collaborated with other ACHIEVE national organizations.
