The Performance Measurement Branch Analysis Contract assists the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) in achieving its mission through providing expert analysis and translation of data into useful information and products for the ultimate enhancement of services provided and managed by CSAT and its grantees. The contract is designed to have several evaluation-related subprojects or tasks ongoing simultaneously for different purposes and audiences. Altarum staff members conduct three main types of activities for the contract:

• Analytic support, including consulting on analytic methods, assisting with statistical programming, conducting statistical analysis, and preparing analytic reports for both internal and public use;
• Website and Web page development; and
• Literature searches, technical writing, and report editing.
