Altarum Institute supports the work of the American Health Information Community (AHIC), chartered to promote the use of health information technologies, through the coordination and facilitation of numerous expert in-person and Web-based meetings. We have conducted focus groups for this initiative and provide technical, logistic and writing support to a growing number of expert workgroups and subgroups associated with this project. Altarum maintains a Web site for this project, helps support the day-to-day planning for workgroup meetings, and provides written summaries and transcripts of each meeting.
