Director, Medical Research and Health Communications
Named a 2009 Rising Star by Federal Computer Week, Ms. Maloney has more than 15 years of experience focused on Internet and new media solutions for government and private-sector clients launching communications campaigns and new service offerings. She bridges the space between what technology can do and what an agency is trying to achieve. She speaks in plain language, comprehends an agency’s goals, analyzes the options, and clearly presents what’s possible and will be effective.
Drawing on many years’ experience developing online solutions in the media and publishing industry, Ms. Maloney strives to differentiate online and offline outreach efforts, emphasizing that each medium has unique offerings for the audience. With an eye to enhancing online communications with richer content, more interactive features, and multimedia, she furthers the relationship of the publisher and the reader. Ms. Maloney is actively engaged with many Palladian clients to further their online outreach, educational, and social media initiatives in the most strategic and cost-effective ways possible.
Ms. Maloney has led the strategic planning and implementation of web redesigns that include the award winning American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) website for the NIH Office of the Director (OD), Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health, National Institute on Drug Abuse Low Literacy website, and sites for the National Center for Research Resources, the Office of Personnel Management, and the Post-Newsweek Media community newspapers.
